Landslide Lake in Pakistan | Attabad Lake
Five months ago, on January 4, 2010 in the mountains in the valley of the river Of hunza of North Pakistan, mass landslides buried the village Of attabad, after destroying 26 houses, they perished 20 people, and they also overlapped the motion Of hunza river. The newly formed lake is tall, authorities evacuated population from the valley. Lake at present with the depth is more than 300 feet even 16 km into the length, several miles of highway, farms and houses has
already been immersed under it. On this week the lake reached the apex of its natural weir, and it began to pour out outside.
